I had a misfire under load on my ST1100, traced it back to low voltage reaching the coils and poor sparks as a result. The cause was corrosion in a connector that supplied power to the ECU. You could also check the coils for appropriate resistance on the primary and secondary sides.

Tnx! So, electrical perhaps... Damn. I was hoping for carburetor issues, something I can handle. But electrical. Hate it.

So, which one is the one to forth cylinder? Secondary and primary side is where?

Thanks again for quick response

So, just realised that I haven't described my problems accordingly for me to ask for your help.

Rough acceleration over 5000 rpm, feels like misfire. Does backfire or poff poff when released throttle after acceleration. The last one can be due to the exhaust (slip on) being replaced. But I'm not sure.

Been ridiculous summer so far. First 3 weeks of work after the holidays and it's been many overtime hours.

But, this lunch, my buddy asked me to get to the tire shop... Apparently this isn't the way to ride, no matter how fun it is ??_20170818_172817.thumb.JPG.ab108cc172b5fc326a42f5cd4c314d48.JPG_20170818_172817.thumb.JPG.181a9251674d475cc2cde6771544a0fe.JPG

And yesterday offered warmth in the air again

I know why those critters went extinct. Although their teeth were fine for taking care of hooved forest rats, their arm were too short for riding motorcycles!

New clutch! Hopeful on better speed out of those corners now. DP-clutches with harder coating and better springs.

The old springs, right in the picture, was waiting for replacement. It was a 6mm difference in height (!)
