AWP34
Hey VFR's I have an 2008 VFR 800 with under 30K miles. All services have been done. I have been noticing that while at idle I hear a clicking sound in the front of the bike. Any suggestions on what it could be and what I can do to resolve this issue? Thanks for your help. Suzuki416
if I assume the front of the bike to mean at the front of the engine then I'd assume cam chain tensioners - i replaced both of mine at 36,000m.
hellindustries
I'd also go with cam chain. But the specific 6th gen sub-forum may be a better place to ask, as this one deals with 5th gen, which does not have a cam chain (it's gear driven).http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/index.php?/forums/forum/2-sixth-generation-vfrs/
WERA910
Flapper valve in the top of the airbox does that too lift the tank, plug the vacuum line and see if it goes away.
