z28flash
Actually, I want to replace all three seals in that location, but when I got everything off to see the seals, they appear to be pressed in from the inside of the engine casing, meaning you cannot remove and replace from the outside. Is this correct? Or is there a method to allow access to the counter sprocket seal and I guess maybe it's called the clutch seal, around the shifting shaft. Thanks for any information!! Member Contributer HighSideNZ Posted February 10, 2017 Member Contributer Share Posted February 10, 2017 The counter shaft seal is fitted to the cases at assembly time and is clamped in place between the cases and has a ring on the inside that fits in a groove in the cases so there is no way to change it without splitting the cases.
