Well 2 weeks down now. Insurance has paid out my gear and tow but still waiting on the bike. Its been assessed but should be repairable just gota get the final word from insurance regarding the cost. Its insured for 12.5 with 3k accessories so should be financially viable.

Slow but steady, just the way I like it.

Starting your "get well" drinking session early....

:-)

I finished the prescription of Diclofenac a while back. Wanted to stop earlier as I didnot need them "painwise" but was told to continue for their anti-inflamatory use.

Stayed well clear of the Oxicontin/codin, hope you too have no need for them.

Well 6 screws and a long plate later. Gota sit on my arse for 3 months now. Told to do nothing as i had no bone groth. More xrays in 2 weeks otherwise they take bone from my pelvis and use it for a bone graft.

They just told you to immobilise it initially?  Blimey, sounds like my first (NHS) consultant, who decided a cast was all my ankle needed...  Good luck.

don't think so  - i think its just slow release paracetamol. It'll say on the packet.

Ibuprofen is the active ingredient in nurofen.

I took paracetemol 1000mg and diclofenac (spelling may be different), stayed well clear of the Oxcycodin.

Today the brace on my lower arm/wrist will be changed/re-modeled.

Gpoing to look at an SP....  :-)

Xakery

Panadol = Paracetamol

Brufen/Neobrufen/Nurofen = Ibuprofen

Voltaren = Diclofenac

Toradol = Ketorolac

Glenfiddich = Shellackin'

Basically all different forms of one group of drugs:

NSAIDs -- or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs... and basically provide pain relief, hinder inflammatory processes, curb fever... and can be harmful to the stomach lining, liver, kidneys... Usually taken with gastric protectors like Omeprazol or Ranitidine... which in turn can produce headaches, disturbances of the gut such as diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or flatulence...
