Member Contributer NorthernVFRDave Posted December 10, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted December 10, 2015 I saw one of these back in the spring but didn't know what it was until today. It's got 6 GoPro cameras in a qube that all sync together to record all at once to the same storage unit. Now sure who's video editing software is used to tie it all together. But it can make a video that as it plays you can move your mouse around and see 360° around the cameras as the video plays. Sounds cool yes.. But now watch this video on a smartphone or tablet, and move your phone around and the video tracks the phones movements and adjusts the view to where you look.. https://youtu.be/NdZ02-Qenso About a $3000 setup, but would make some cool snowmobile or bike videos. Member Contributer TheJay Posted December 10, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted December 10, 2015 They sell a 360 camera at Best Buy that works similar. It's not exactly 360 degrees like this set up, but a whole heckuva lot cheaper. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/360fly-panoramic-360-hd-video-camera-black/9131042.p?id=1219405459683&skuId=9131042
