One can only wonder what the tank looked like under that bra. Same here when i was station there. Big bike were few and far between and most were treated like old farm trucks, overloaded and beat up. Given the bright yellow color, the Varadero could belong to a rider opening the road for oversize load trucks. It used to be a police/gendarmerie job, but not anymore. These riders have to have yellow bikes. I hope you have a chance to ride "la Corniche des Cévennes" before you go. It's road D9, north of Montpellier, between Florac and Saint-Jean-Du-Gard, on top of the crest. 50 km of very nice road, very nice view, maybe a bit busy with dutch caravans on a Saturday though :-) (random picture from Internet) A video from a ride last year starting here in Florac: https://youtu.be/bAo91Qrx5w8?t=10m15s Anyway, have a nice time in South of France!
