Sacrebleu ! I recognise the area (and the licence plate), I live in Montpellier ! A shame I'm not around, I would have offered you a beer and shown you a proper VFR :-)

The pics of those VFRs remind me of the conditions of a couple of smaller VFRs I saw in South Korea.

One can only wonder what the tank looked like under that bra.

Same here when i was station there. Big bike were few and far between and most were treated like old farm trucks, overloaded and beat up.

The guy with the 4th gen had plenty of tape for the fairings - the least he could do is use some on the seat to close it up.

We are in Montpellier till Sunday, staying on rue Paul Brousse. Then off to Mougins.

The bikes across from a soukh on Rue Daru.

Ever seen this one?

Sorry :-( I'm on the other side of the country for an other week.

Given the bright yellow color, the Varadero could belong to a rider opening the road for oversize load trucks. It used to be a police/gendarmerie job, but not anymore. These riders have to have yellow bikes.

I hope you have a chance to ride "la Corniche des Cévennes" before you go. It's road D9, north of Montpellier, between Florac and Saint-Jean-Du-Gard, on top of the crest.

50 km of very nice road, very nice view, maybe a bit busy with dutch caravans on a Saturday though :-)

A video from a ride last year starting here in Florac:

Anyway, have a nice time in South of France!

And if you follow the mediterranean coast to go from Montpellier to Mougin via Marseille(s), be sure not to miss "La route des Crêtes" (D141) between Cassis and La Ciotat ! Short piece of road but wonderful view :-)

Not from me :https://mypagefour.wordpress.com/2013/06/09/route-des-cretes-provence/

We often have lunch down "Le cirque de Navacelles" with my riding buddies :-) I don't know why, but the pace is always a bit slower after lunch ...

That's the spirit :-) Enjoy your stay!
