Yup. Views are spectacular . The road surface from Loch Carron to Kishorn have finally been redone, nice and smooth now.

Interesting. I got 10K out of my PR3's (same pattern as the 4's but a harder better wearing compound) also unfortunately.....

It's the PR4 that has the harder wearing compound, not the PR3, so should last longer, if only marginally. The improvements over the PR3 are minor but I'll take that when emergency braking in the wet.

Review here.

And some from Yesterday's ride up into NSW via Echuca.

Photos from Murray River in Echuca, and the next couple from Tocumwal.

And some more... had to go to canberra for work... and back... About 740km each way via the princes highway and monary highway (there is a quicker way via the Hume that is 670km - but that is a lot more boring)

Trip there was a bit wet...

Which also included a short delay due to a B double crash

Then there was canberra itself - our capital.

Then there was the trip home.

Since the VFR is new-to-me, pictures are coming in fast and furious. Here's a few of mine, either of the bike, or while out on it. Hope they stand up to the many already put up, some really great shots from everyone.

A few pics from ride from Sydney to my home in northern nsw. The  Gwyder highway  swoops down from the New England plateau to the coastal plains of the Northern Rivers region.

its a great road and a great ride.

What is the bag you are using, did it survive the wet. Colour match is a bonus.

LOL - just a backpack for Virgin Active (a gym train around here - my wife got a freebie bag at one point). Just a standard backpack.

I got new tires on Friday (yay!). Conveniently a rain storm started as I was leaving the shop so I broke them in on wet pavement.

Then Saturday I went out and it rained more. I can say that Pilot Road 4s handle quite well in the wet at a spirited pace. Now I just need to get some gear and boots that handle the water.
