Member Contributer jackleftzuo Posted April 30, 2017 Member Contributer Share Posted April 30, 2017 I am jealous, haha. Honda always gives Europe the best configuration, the most abundant products, including VFR800X VFR1200X ....

keny
Yes, Honda need more speed, seems its the green bikes that are the fastest now, Superbike or Supersport...........
Member Contributer Dutchy Posted April 30, 2017 Author Member Contributer Share Posted April 30, 2017 Racing is dangerous, saw the superstock 1000 crash right in front of me. Reminiscent of the Simoncelli incident, seeing how anothet bike rides right over a body is something you donot wish to see. Packed up and left as seeing the medics franticly working for a looong time and ambulances arriving took me back to Lithuania... :-( Once home read that Fritz is concious and injuries appear to be "ok"...

Member Contributer Dutchy Posted May 7, 2017 Author Member Contributer Share Posted May 7, 2017 Not only went to America, but also to a town called Ysselsteyn. for one, i live in a town called IJsselstein, it is also an area where they grow the White Gold No, that is not a variety of White Widow... White Gold is what we call..... Stopped at a bike shop for a coffee and a "sit" on the other bike I considered.. Nah.... glad I bought the VTR1000-SP2 Today, Sunday, an historic day with general elections in France. Although our species have a habit of forgetting one's history..... Ysselsteyn is also known for a place where one can see what the result is from voting in a populist leader who promises to make the country great again and identify "them" as scapegoats... In comparison, Margraten, our largest WW2 cemetery for American forces, holds 8,302 servicemen.. A high price was paid for their folly (not that they had much of a choice not to go to the front). And what do we do, we vote for populists "en masse"; in the NL we see the same with Wilders voted the 2nd largest party... Education and compassion is what will make us truly "great", not rhetoric... And for Skuuter: "Frietje America"

Member Contributer Dutchy Posted May 12, 2017 Author Member Contributer Share Posted May 12, 2017 Still on company paid garden leave. Living in a socialist euro trash country is a biatch eh? Got a few interviews lined up, but so far the "1962" on my CV seems to be similar to having a Muslim name and wanting to enter the US in the "we make you feel welcome stakes" :-)

Member Contributer Dutchy Posted May 13, 2017 Author Member Contributer Share Posted May 13, 2017 "Are Friends Electric 2.0" In 2014 I test rode BMW's C Evolution, which was fun, but looks wise and seating position not an ahem "real" motorcycle. Today, by chance I came across a "eco" fair where the ZERO was on display AND available for a test ride. Who am I to say no to a free ride??? Did the BMW (in 2014) give 72Nm torque, my SP2 118Nm, the SR delivers 146Nm...... Holy Shitt!!! TorqueMonster 2.0 Frame, suspension, handling, brakes, all excellent. The one scary thing is that as you speed (and I mean SPEED) down the road, cyclist and pedestrians NEVER hear you coming...

Member Contributer Dutchy Posted May 15, 2017 Author Member Contributer Share Posted May 15, 2017 Replaced the fake cf ones for much brighter (21W halogen) ones that look more Honda OEM. The topframe should have 2 holes for "proper" oem Honda indicators (as per the fiche) but their is only one... Och well..
Member Contributer Dutchy Posted May 17, 2017 Author Member Contributer Share Posted May 17, 2017 30 celcius, rain tomorrow , so "out in the fields".... Feared I left it too late for the flower field, and I yep I was pretty much too late... Then it struck me...... In a world full of "one size fits all" UJM's, where pretty much the world is green, there is "us"! Us being those Honda V4 and V2 lovers that go against convention!! standing out in the crowd, rightly so! Soft P0rn Bilitis 2.0? Nah.... Bay Watch 2.0!!! Member Contributer Dutchy Posted May 24, 2017 Author Member Contributer Share Posted May 24, 2017 Gilles Tooling stopped producing chain adjustors for the RC51 a while back and despite some 40 owners showing interest, they were not interested in running a batch. a member on the RC51 forum found a company in the UK that was willing and able. Does one need one? NO Does one WANT one? Yeah, one thing he didnot think off was getting his logo "right". If you fit the axle as it came from the factory (nut on the RHS), "RACETORX: will be upside down. Something for the next run I reckon. Not fitting the "ape hangers", prefer the bobbins for a cleaner look.
