Veefer800Canuck
Hey, blast from the past, thanks for asking. The shoulder is still weak, overhead work is difficult, I definitely feel it if I'm working hard. Not as much improvement as I would have liked, but I can actually sleep on the bum shoulder now, which I could not do before. That alone is worth the price of admission. At least I don't have a big egg on my shoulder, the clavicle is nearly flat, but I wish it felt better than it does. I don't think it'll ever be "right". But I am functioning, as normal as possible, and you learn on the fly to modify your routine to compensate. I know why Ben Spies retired, and I'm gonna be the last one to call him a pansy. :-(

Member Contributer didit Posted January 21, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted January 21, 2014 Did Hollywood contact you for a role as "Rob-o-Cop-Veffer"? Glad to hear you are progressing and most importantly, getting that sleep comfort back. I know how much that means after my spine surgery years ago. Member Contributer didit Posted January 21, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted January 21, 2014 Things have mellowed over the last year, giving my brain a chance re-establish volume control. I picked up a new GT Air at the end of last season and was EXTREMELY impressed with the sound suppression. One test ride, I went without a plug in my right ear, had very little buffeting, no discomfort at all. Could easily ride all day like that.
