Me too damnit, I want to put my experience up here ...
Just b/c I wanted to see what she was like on track (like everybody else I guess), I took my VFR to Barber this weekend. In order not to get overly enthusiastic with her, and end up tossing her down the track, I ran in the novice group. Plus, I had no idea what kind of ride the slightly porky girl would be

. Turns out, she wasn't bad. In preparation I put Dunlop Q2s on and did a 520 chain conversion, going down 1 tooth on the front sprocket. I already had a minimal, but better than stock, Penske shock on the rear and Racetech .95 springs in front. A good guy for bike work here in town helped me check sag and then I was ready.
She ran well through the day, but early on, the FI light would come on after a few laps and never went out 'till I came in. Then it would come back on again during a session? The performance never felt bad, except when I bumped up on the rev limiter

. I have 2 different maps in the PCIII on her and tried both. The reaction was the same with either map. She also ran quite hot, I saw 236 deg. a # of times. I had never run Q2s before, and they were new, so I took it easier in the morning. They never made me nervous so I liked them. I'll keep them on for street now until they're 'gone', then it's back to Roadsmart IIs. The brakes did fade a lot, I had to adj. the lever out during the day. I noticed my linked brakes once, coming down the hill to turn 5 I decided to try braking later, and when I got on the brakes harder the rear wheel broke loose just a bit. I noticed some decent acceleration out of turns with the smaller front sprocket and she held her own except against the liter bikes on the straights :^).
So I feel better now that I put this up. I also have some video but haven't edited it to just show blinding speed and skill yet, oh wait, there isn't any
