I am buying 2 wheels for my VFR RWB,and I am looking at powder coating them Anodized gold. I was wondering what if any parts are recommended when changing over wheels?

Also if anyone has pics on RWB with gold rims that would be great!

And a used front wheel for sale.

Thanks

Wheel bearings are the only thing that comes to mind but it depends on the mileage. If they are relatively low mileage I wouldn't bother replacing them.
Just make sure you remove them before you send them off for powder coating.

Wheel bearings and seals for sure. You can't leave them in for powdercoating and the only way to get them out is beat on the inner race which means they shouldn't be reused. New valve stems as well. I get the wheel bearings from All Balls Racing.

I dunno about the gold wheels on the RWB. Maybe someone could photoshop it for us, but I'm just not feeling it.

We strongly recommend that you use only genuine Honda accessories that have been specifically designed and tested for your motorcycle. We strongly advise you not to remove any original equipment or modify your motorcycle in any way that would change its design or operation. Such changes could seriously impair your motorcycle’s handling, stability and braking, making it unsafe to ride.

Just recently had my wheels done in gloss black. The bearings in the front wheel have to be replaced. Don't forget new valve stems.

I saw it somewhere but can't seem to find the pic with it done. I'm not sure myself and I would like to see the pic. again

Maybe white but afraid it will stain and difficult to clean.
