Would be grateful if one you wise people out there can suggest what my problem might be.
Had been riding for about an hour, stopped for 10 minutes jumped back on, started engine, side stand up, into 1st no problem, just went to pull away and engine died.
Complete electrical failure, no panel lights, nothing except clock.
Have checked fuses all ok, checked earth on blue connector, have good continuity across the connector with no resistance.
I have fully charged battery and have 12v at ign switch. i am thinking that the problem may lie with either the engine stop relay or kill switch, i haven't had time to check these yet. I thought i would chuck it past you guys as 2 heads are better than 1.
Under the front cowl there are 4 relays ( engine stop, fuel cut off and 2 h'light) could someone tell me if these relays are the same so that if i find it is the engine stop relay at fault i could perhaps use one the h'lght relays for the time being.

Check your starter relay and fuse B wiring next to the battery. Also need to check the white connector with yellow wires on the right side of the bike. Has the recall been done yet?
