I found this link on another bike website .... very interesting tale told by an ex motorcycle thief and stolen bike fence.

Many good tips on how to keep you from losing your scooter. Some revealing thoughts and experiences.

He may be an "Ex"bike thief, but I hope his Chickens turn into Emu's & kick his Outhouse down.

According to the UK Police Officer, the Abloy PL362 is the lock he uses and recommends as it is "pick proof". Did a quick google search and the lock itself sells for ~$265.00. Next would be finding a chain to match. You can imagine the weight of both chain and lock, so this may not be the ideal combo to carry around, but might be the right one to use if you have to park your bike in the open at your home.
