This route incorporates the best roads in British Columbia as well as one of the best in Washington. Were thinking we may break it into two groups, one moderately paced take in the scenery group and one quicker take full advantage of the road group. We'll decide when we meet up.

Dates:

2010 - JULY 17, 18, 19

START in Abbotsford at the Tim Hortons SOUTH of Hwy 1 closest to the border. Aiming for a 7AM Departure. 1255 Sumas Way
Abbotsford‎ BC‎ V2S
Canada

There's a gas station on the North West corner of Hwy 9 and Hwy 20. That's where we will hook up with the Sedro riders, make sure you're already fueled up.

It's a quick stop and pickup. For the people leaving from Sumas the first gas stop is Marblemount also another meet point (0845hrs). Day one is going to be a longish day so we gotta keep the extraneous stuff to a minimum so we can do more important things like stop, rest, eat and enjoy the scenery.

Were leaving Sumas at 7am so providing the border doesn't hold us up I would be ready at that Sedro gas station for 0745hrs.

Might meet you during the ride for parts of it. I have family living in Trail, so may also bypass Nelson.
I've done those roads many times and yes they are worth it. I'll be doing at least 4 loops through there this summer.
Planning 2 weeks + for the VFRD PNW meet this summer so I have to balance t/o.
I'm not lost, I'm just checking every possible route . . .
2004 ABS, K&N filter, PC III, Motad catless headers, Remus Ti exhaust, Wiremybike fuse block, Ampli-Rider audio splitter, Tomtom G930, TYRE, Radar detector, Powerlet outlet, Daugherty Motorsports rebuilt F4i rear shock, Givi Trunk, factory hardbags, radar's sliders, Lobster mirror extenders, BW Rewards

Ooh... that might be nice. I'd like to add a day or two to give more goofin' time or be able to stop if you come acrooss something spectacular. But definately looks interesting!

Will keep it in mind as we start planning our 2010 rides. Cheers! E-Ticket

1. do nothing & never ride any other VFR with reworked or serviced suspension & you can stay ignorant of the difference, so more or less what you don't know you don't need (cost zero)
