Road2 Rear Leeway

Once the road2 to rear hits da wear bars, how much lee way does this tire have?
I have a new tire , but wondering if it will do another weekend maybe 500 mile, it s just flushing the bars, or it is pretty minmal once the bars flush

But being able to see the cords made me feel a bit uncomfortable, it would be in the back of my head the entire trip. But the thickness of the PR in the middle is no more than 3mm. Probably enough for a couple of 100mls meandering along the rivers, but I don't know what happens if you put some real heat into them.

well, I made it through the weekend, so I replace my rear next week, if you look where your wear bar is, the grove venturing futher into the center, my groove is gone. Just fyI

So far I think the Roadsmarts are OK, but I've mostly ridden them in them in the wet. It seems turn in takes a little bit more effort than the PR2.

My tire mileage has gone to crap since moving from NY to TN. Damn curves!

That's good to know, a PP would be in the cords by now! It's amazing how good they still grip right down to the cords, except in the wet of course!
And yes Twisties are a blessing and a curse as I love them but have burned through over 30 sets of tires!
