Depends on what you're looking for.

I usually find the best deal I can, then call Dennis Kirk(.com) - they have a price matching policy where they beat any price by $1. And they ship tires in a box. And they are within 3 days via UPS ground, which helps if the company w/ the best deal is on the west coast(I am in NY).

Do you mount and balance them yourself?

I get mine from a buddy who sells them at the track...

With Dennis Kirk and other catalog places, who knows how old the tires are. :comp13:

I wouldn't swear to it,but I'm pretty sure tyres are date marked.....I think it's the 2nd group of #s past "DOT" (reading left to right)......Not that it will help in mail orders, since you won't know till you get it.........Anyway "KIRT"'s my supplier.....Monk

All the tires I've ordered from them have looked newer than what's on the dealer's shelf(not that they have what I want anyway!)

I haven't looked for dates, I go by the condition of the sticker on the tire. All the ones at the dealership are dry and peeling. The ones I've ordered have always looked like they were just put on, and usually the glue is still goopy.

They do go through a lot of stock, especially in the popular sizes.
