I need a new rear tire. Up front I am running a Battlax so I could stay with the stones, but I would change it up if the right deal came along. Dennis Kirk has a BT020 for $123, So far that is the most reasonable price. If anyone knows of a deal let me know. Thanks.

WOW not one else has said anything on a tire post yet????
Bt020 are good tire, I had them ran almost 10k miles with no problem. Good price tire for what you get, I'm running the BT014s right now, just because I need tires quick and the price was good. Better dry handling then the 020s but not as good in the rain and about half the life because they are a softer tire.
Mich Pilots are the best from what everyone says around here, but they will cost you.
But its your bike and if you like the stones stick with them. Price doesn't sound that bad, we get hosed in Canada on tires, 020 rear is $220 last time I checked.

You'll get twice the miles and better stick from the Pilot Road 2, and it's about $190 the last time I looked... that's better economy in my opinion.
If it has to be cheap to get by, there are lots of deals on Ebay. My neighbor has a set of Michelin Hi Sports he took off his 919 when it only had 400 miles on it... if you want, I'll see if he doesn't want to sell them. Probably really cheap....
