This is THE source for the VFRness, the plug-n-play wiring harness that restores your confidence in your motorcycle charging system. Along with the VFRness, I offer products that are the result of many searches by me and others, in our quest to make our motorcycles the BEST they can be.For the most part these are electrical parts, tools, and more. Occasionally I also find a great deal on other upgrades or 'farkles' that I want to share…and they get included. This site is the result of me having a need, and upon fulfilling that need realizing that MANY others shared the same needs…and thus it has grown. I do no targeted advertising of any sort…purely word of mouth and the result of two great forums:

Just installed the HID conversion from VFRness. It took me a long time to get around to the project, but finally did it after having both low beam lights go out on the same day. Between the front fairing removal instructions on YouTube and the WORD doc from VFRness, I was able to figure out how to do the conversion pretty easily. My '08 VFR800A has some slight variation to his front end, but managed to figure out the wiring & eventually. I do recomment the kit from VFRness. If you do this,

I have some additional tips:

Have some spare Honda clips on hand when you start this and any maintenance work that requires fairing removal.

Remove the fuse in the orange wire during installation. Don't plug it back in until just before you test out the lights. I managed to fry my fuse because of my butter fingers.&Put the ballast where he suggested, just be sure you test out the location before you apply the double back tape.

You have to shove the ballast way deep/forward into the to clear the fuse boxes; not an easy thing to do when the double sided tape is applied.
