Thanks for the feature!
Yokel, Where is this? I moved to MO less than a yr ago and I'm looking for nice roads... sometimes my wanderings find a choice stretch of twisties or sweepers and other times I get stuck on a country arrow for miles without a turn... any input is appreciated!
My guess on the location would be far SW corner, near Noel, on Hwy 90, but that's just a guess on my part. I made several attempts to ride some of those routes several years ago, always in the springtime and we always got thwarted by thunderstorms. Had to back off. Made it to Southwest City on one occasion but had to abort. Just getting there was fun though!
Ernie, you're REALLY close.
It's West Branson through Cape Fair and beyond through the National Forest. I remember it was HWY 76 in SW Missouri, but frankly I was enjoying myself too much to remember specifics.

My route was adjusted by T-storms to the North, East and South... was dodging them all day long. Wouldnt have found this pretty little ride if I had done the route I planned on.

Also- If you look VERY closely at the orange diamond sign directly across from the apex of the turn (you can't read it in this image)....
It says:
Fresh Oil and Loose Gravel.
*facepalm*
